One office in Sydney. Projects across NSW.

Where Apex works: engineering projects across Sydney's inner west, north, west and south, the Central Coast, Hunter, Illawarra and regional NSW.

Sydney — Inner West, City & East

Our office is on Burwood Rd, so this is home ground. Work here runs from residential flat buildings on tight infill sites to alterations and additions inside a live hospital campus, where staging around an operating building matters as much as the design itself.

Sydney — North

Mixed-use and residential development across the north shore and the Pacific Highway corridor, much of it on sloping sites where stormwater strategy, retention and structural design have to be resolved together rather than in sequence.

Sydney — West & North West

The largest concentration of our work. Western Sydney covers the full range we practise — commercial development in the Parramatta CBD, hyperscale data centre infrastructure at Eastern Creek, and greenfield residential release areas through Schofields and the North West Growth Area.

Sydney — South & South West

Residential and mixed-use development through the Sutherland Shire, the south-west, and out to the Wollondilly fringe, where flood planning levels and overland flow are usually the first constraint on what a site can carry.

Central Coast

Mixed-use and residential flat building work around Gosford and the coastal strip. Coastal exposure changes the durability brief — concrete cover, material selection and remedial detailing all have to answer to a more aggressive environment.

Hunter & Newcastle

Residential development in the Newcastle suburbs, delivered from Sydney with the same team and the same documentation set. A two-hour drive has never been the thing that decides whether we take a project.

Illawarra & South Coast

Commercial and residential projects from the Wollongong CBD down to the Shoalhaven, including sites where the escarpment and the coastal plain put real limits on drainage strategy.

New England & regional NSW

Regional work is a normal part of the practice, not an exception to it. Projects outside the metropolitan area get the same multidisciplinary team; what changes is the authority you deal with and the standards a colder, higher-altitude climate imposes.
